New Story – Switching Off – to be Featured in TEB’s ‘Switch’ Anthology

Yay! I’ve made it into Total-E-Bound’s ‘Switch’ anthology, which will be released in September this year. The theme of the anthology is BDSM switching, from Dominant to submissive (or vice versa).

My contribution will be called Switching Off, and will feature a woman with a dominant attitude to her work/life in general. When the stress of her life gets too hard, she takes her her sexy male friend up on his offer of a night of submission…

Here’s the blurb. :)

With his collar around her throat and her pulse pounding through her body, can she switch off enough to submit to his every whim?

Nina loves her job in middle-management—her dominant personality and organisational skills make her indispensible to her employers. But when her boss puts too many demands on her department, she finds it impossible to leave her job at her desk and enjoy her weekend with her sexy best friend, Jon.

When Jon takes away her phone and tells her she’s not allowed to check her emails until Monday morning, Nina challenges his right to order her around. His response is to kiss her into silence and then to order her to her knees. What’s even more startling is that Nina finds herself obeying—though not without a fight.

Can Jon succeed in getting Nina to switch off her managerial self as well as her phone? Or will she safeword before she can reach the sublime subspace he’s promised to guide her into?

Erotic Horror Story Smoke and Mirrors – Out Now!

Yay! My collaboration with Fleur T Reid, Smoke and Mirrors , was released yesterday. It’s part of the Scared Stiff collection (classy title, I know!), and if you buy it from Total-E-Bound’s website, you’ll be entered into the draw to win five ebooks of your choice.

Writing with Fleur was such an awesome experience… and I’d just like to blame all the really screwed up parts on her. No doubt she’d say the exact same thing about me, though, so I’ll leave you to decide who’s lying… ;)

When the circus comes to town, what will you see on the other side of the mirror?

Max has always been able to see things that aren’t there…or perhaps his visions show people’s true natures, in their reflections.

When he visits the circus one night, the last thing he expects is to fall in lust with the sexy knife-thrower, Lady Stiletto. But when he follows her into the funhouse – and into the hall of mirrors – they are both sucked into a warped and twisted world where time moves differently and nothing is what it seems…

Can Max find Lady Stiletto and save her from the madness of the mirror world? Or will he find only an echo, driven mad by the carnival of horrors they’ve been plunged into?

Preorder Hidden Heat, 4-Star Review for Little Tease, and More!

I’ve been pretty quiet lately, on the whole. I’ve got a lot of projects on the go, but I seem to be stalling on most of them!

Anyway, here’s a post with all my news and plans…

Preorder Hidden Heat Now!

Hidden Heat, my dystopian erotica novella, is out on Monday, and you can preorder it now from Total-E-Bound’s website. It won’t be on Amazon or anywhere else for three months, but you can grab it at TEB now! I hope you do, cause I really enjoyed writing it.

I’ve also started writing its sequel, tentatively titled Holo Betrayal (yes, I’ve been taking bad pun lessons from my friend Fleur T. Reid), which looks like it’s going to be full of twists and turns. Writing about corrupt governments and covert sex is so much fun… plus, the characters have kind of seized control of the whole thing. Don’t you just love it when that happens?

Little Tease gets four stars from The Romance Reviews!

Hot on the heels of Dominance and Deception‘s nomination for Best Erotic BDSM Romance 2011 (please go and vote!), The Romance Reviews has given Little Tease, the first book in the Rack and Ruin series, a four-star rating – which is pretty damn fine with me! Here’s an excerpt from the review:

I really thought that LITTLE TEASE was cute. Cute?? Yeah, cute, you read that right. I know BDSM romance isn’t normally considered cute, but the BDSM stuff really wasn’t the main focus of the story in my opinion. Yeah, there was some D/s power exchange, bondage and spanking, but that was about the extent of it. Most of the book really focused on the interaction between Josh and Lena outside of the D/s boundaries, and I loved that. [...] My only complaint was that I wanted more. More of Josh and Lena, more of the club members…just more!

You can read the full review at the TRR website. Thanks, Rho!

What’s Next?

The next couple of weeks will be release weeks – Hidden Heat is out on Monday 26th March, and on Monday 2nd April my erotic horror collaboration with Fleur T. Reid, Smoke and Mirrors, will be released.

Having said that, all the work is done from my perspective, really. It has been for a few weeks – it’s over to my publisher now. So I get to sit back and watch… no, wait. That’s a huge lie!

Yep, I have a sequel to Hidden Heat to write. In addition to that, Rack and Ruin 2, Smurfette’s book, is still in its infancy, and I’m impatient to get that written so I can start squeeing over Izzy’s book, the third in the series (which is already written).

I also have a submission to Total-E-Bound’s Switch anthology to finish, and once that’s done I want to start a Gothic ghost story. My plate is well and truly full at the moment, and that’s not even counting my day job. Things might be slow in coming together, but bear with me – I’m still writing!

Dominance and Deception Nominated for Best Erotic BDSM Romance – Please Vote!

Dominance and DeceptionI’m incredibly stunned and excited to say that Dominance and Deception has been nominated for best Erotic BDSM Romance 2011 at The Romance Reviews – I just didn’t even see it coming.

Please, pretty please, if you’ve read it and liked it (or just like my work in general), sign up for a free TRR account and vote for me! I will love you forever and ever. Realistically, I don’t think I’m a big enough name yet to win any awards, but there’s a tiny, hopeful little piece of my heart that really wants to win. *grin* If I do win, I’ll hold a big awesome competition of awesome or something, with exciting prizes!

Thanks for reading, whatever you decide to do. :)
